Our Story
Pure Harvest Grocery Club was founded in 2019 under the trusted Pure Harvest Super Maize Meal brand — a household name known for quality, value, and reliability.
After years of serving families across South Africa, we realised that many households faced the same challenge every December — spending their entire salary on groceries. To help ease this burden, the Pure Harvest team created a simple but powerful idea:
a grocery savings club that helps families plan ahead, save together, and enjoy a worry-free festive season.
What began as a small community stokvel has grown into a national savings movement, empowering members to contribute a fixed monthly amount and receive their full grocery supply at the end of the year.
